Newfoundland and Labrador is famous for its
Screech In tradition,
and people from the province love to stay in touch with
their roots.

Hi Kevin, I'm your cousin Paul's wife. He asked me to send him the link to your website so since I did that this morning I thought I'd check it out myself. Good job! I hate to admit I've never been to Newfoundland but having lived with Paul (who happens to be half Newf)for more than 10 years I feel quite drawn to da rock. Marge and Aunt Pressie even taught me a few Newfie words a few years back... I have a question, do you have to be in Newfoundland to be screeched? Can a Newf do it from off the rock? I've been wanting to get it done for years but no one seems to want to take it on for me... I hope I get to meet you and your family some day soon, April |
